Relationships come in all sizes and shapes from de facto couples and long term marriages to arranged marriages to long distance relationships as there is no one-size-fits-all solution for partner visas. meets the partner criteria for grant of the visa may vary and the approach to an application and demonstrating a relationship is genuine.
Choose the right partner visa:
Talk To Each Other regularly : This is going to be an emotional and a long experience for both of you, and you need to be on the same page. Before lodging a Partner visa discuss any previous relationships, criminal convictions, and medical issues.it is extremely important that you communicate with your partner regularly and maintain records of your communication if you have been in a long-distance relationship.if you communicate with your partner regularly and can show evidence of this Your relationship will seem a lot more genuine.
Don’t assume that you are guaranteed visa approval. No applicant is guaranteed success,Regardless of whether you are married or have your relationship registered. It is extremely important to support your application that you provide a range of evidence sources. as your relationship will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate genuineness and commitment.
Share your finances. It is crucial to show how you and your partner share and manage your finances as a couple as One of the things, a case officer, will look into to determine the genuineness of your relationship with your partner is finances. Open a joint bank account to prove this.Pay your rent, buy your groceries, and other expenses from that bank account. Evidence of money transfers between your account and your partner’s account can also be great evidence, If you are unable to open a joint bank.
Keep Records - remember to keep a record of the relationship, While you wait for the Department to process the second stage of your partner visa. to show the continuity of the relationship, the Department is likely to ask for further documents. Remember to save all the photos of you and your partner at family gatherings, social events and travels.
Make your relationship known to friends and family - if you can’t provide letters of support from family and friends,It will be quite difficult to prove that you are in a genuine and continuing relationship or photos of you and your partner at social outings or events.
Decision ready application - you can prevent further delays by ensuring that you lodge a ‘decision-ready’ application however Partner visas can take years to process. At the time of application Decision-ready application is essentially lodging all the relevant supporting documents.it will prevent the case officer sending out a request for information which adds to the delay of the processing time,If all relevant documents are submitted.
