What is a dual citizenship?

Travel during COVID-19:

Due to covid-19 Australian citizens cannot leave the country right now. However, there may be some exemptions.  if they meet at least one of the following, applicants can apply for an exemption online:

• For urgent medical treatment that is not available in Australia, for that you are travelling to outside Australia. 
• on humanitarian or compassionate bases.  
• Your travel is in the countrys interest.  
• For important conduct of critical industries and business. 
• You need to travel on urgent or unavoidable personal business. 
• including the provision of aid, your travel is as part of the response to the COVID-19 outbreak

 To support your claims You must provide evidences like passport, marriage certificate, death certificate, birth certificate, relationship proof, current valid visa, letter from doctor or hospital for any medical treatement,letter form an employer showing necessity of travelling or any other proof you have to support your claim. in case you need guidance you can contact immigration agent in Sydney and take advice from them.

Needs to be officially translated into English - travel exemption claim supporting evidence.

Application for exemption should be apply at least two weeks but not more than three months before travelling date. Per person only one request.

Duplication of application may delay assessment. Request process may take 48 hours but in some complex request may take longer.

You should not continue with your travel plans, if you are not granted an exemption, you must take evidence of that exemption decision to the airport if granted an exemption, you are exempt if you are:

• residing in a country other than Australia ordinarily.
