The Global Talent Independent program (GTI) provides individuals to work and live permanently in Australia by a well organized and prioritized pathway for highly skilled talented overseas individuals. The program is designed to grow Australian businesses to compete for the world’s best and brightest skilled migrants of the future and to strengthen Australia’s ability. Government is looking forward to working with Australian universities, states and territories, industry bodies, to attract global talent to Australia. In Berlin, New Delhi, Dubai, Singapore, Santiago, Shanghai and Washington DC, in all the cities Australian Global talent officers are engaged. They attend key industry events and expos to promote the program across several countries in their region.

Individuals who meet the requirements will be provided with a unique Global Talent identifier, Distinguished Talent visa application provides priority processing. You must apply for a different subclass Depending on whether you are located in or outside of Australia, it will be a subclass 858 Distinguished Talent Visa for in Australia, If you are outside Australia or holding an inappropriate visa, you will have to lodge a subclass 124 Distinguished Talent Visa. No standard processing time for the EOI.Streamlined, priority processing will receive with complete visa applications when candidates accepted in to the programme.
However, it is understood that due to COVID-19, these are taking longer processing time than usual. The Distinguished Talent visa regulatory criteria need to meet all visa applicants, including health and character requirements, before granting visa.
